Hmm everytime I connect to a server and it says 'get ready to fight' or something like that, i crash. help?

Its probably a problem with graphics.
Got custom models or skins?

Hmm... I think I do. I just transferred everything in the tribes folder of my old computer and put it on the new. I doubt its my vid card because my new computer is 998482131513 times better than my old. Ill try redownloading it and see if it works without the scripts.

Dude ur actually downgrading when u install Vista. Get XP pro cuz vista is a pos.
