I'm updating to windows 7 tonight
I'm going to try to install tribes with vista patch
Anyone know anything?

Windows 7 is more or less just a "better" version of Vista. It should work. If it doesn't, there should be a patch for it within a couple weeks.

Resolution won't fix
I've tried everything I could think of including installing prev graphics drivers
running in compatibility mode getting stoned
No luck oh well I'll just play on another computer
I'll be waiting for the patch

My suggestion is very simple..."DOWNGRADE" I don't use Vista or 7 or standard XP or Linnux or MAC. I have an even better OS

XP Catharsis is a simplified version of XP. It's stripped of all the BS that it DOESN'T need. It's' kinda like running 2000 and XP as one. There are no sub-menus. Everything is there for you. It also takes up a fraction of the space XP takes. I also don't get the same general problems that comes along with a lot of the updates for standard XP.

ya i use to use them oses before i got this new computer i use i used a stripped version of xp my self for a long time but when you get a computer that blows away other computers the os doesnt even phase it lol my computer i have now runs way faster than any old computer ive had im using vista 64bit right now its the only os my computer supports besides windows 7 64bit

im using a non vista patch version of tribes as yall always knew i was a XP user so i never had it



i tested it out cause i had upgraded to win7 like 6 days ago

it does work w/o the vista patch
