This guy is a psycho on a banning spree. I seriously see him ban anyone who he doesnt like. He also mutes you with no warning if he disagrees with you. Old men shouldn't have admin, they don't understand video games. I've been banned 3 times by him for next to nothing lol.

Nope, he's always been cool to me, and I haven't seen him on any banning rampage. Haven't seen him mute people much either. And the "old guys" are the greats at this game, though a lot of them are 'retired' from tribes now.

Well, Owner did tell anyone with admin that the time for warnings and taking it easy is over, though I really doubt you did anything ban worthy.

I was not aware that owner said that. i have just been doing that. Its been too long that this server has been up for people not to know the rules. Everytime they join it states the rules. when i see someone breaking the rules, then i will freeze them to make them aware of their action, (depends on the offense) If they wont comply, then i will kick. As in bo'sdad, i havnt seen him ban anyone, ever. I have seen him kick people for good reasons. Also, if i see anyone talking shit about oz, i'm kicking. Just the same if i catch them talking shit about UwS, [dF], {LS}, or any other clan that dont deserve it. Also, i have been seeing major increase on n00bs that try to enable Team damage, deploying 100's or more of mines, inventory stations, and soforth. that is an attempt to try to crash the server and is a bannable offense. Can't anyone just play the game like used to. I still remember when NOONE! i mean, nobody does any of the shit i see nowadays. Its really sad to see that used to over 50,000 players playing and none are trying to crash, cheat, talk shit, bk, tk, base block, or anything like that. and now...when there are like a max i mean MAX 200 players now and like over half do things that are childish, n00bish, and down out right fucking dumb as shit fucking stuff. Really sad. really sad. Also, if anyone remembers Wizard of Oz, he was like 55 about 8 years ago. My dad still plays as WARCON**** and he is 52. {TG}BERSERKER, (i think thats how he had it) was i belive around 75 or 80 somin years old, playing tribes on a laptop in the hospital and one day he passed away. thats when i was in {TG|xF}

very well put hotair. the days when the game was played right and players respected the game are pretty much over. never seen so many people that just wanna talk crap and start mass voting on everything. if oz wasnt around i wouldnt be playing now.

I tend to notice alot of admins don't ever take the time to properly observe a situation before making any judgement call. Then, what happens is that when its come time to make an action with a tab menu, its very poorly executed...almost to the point of not even having the effect of making the player feel punished, much like Tomato seems to feel. A simple punishment like global muting and freezing a player is far more annoying than being kicked or banned, I've noticed. Annihilation mod comes with plenty of other admin features to use rather than simply taking their voice or removing a player. (And on that note, I don't believe any admin should remove a player's voice unless they are spamming without a voice pack, as removing a player's voice prevents them from presenting their side of the story for the admin to make a fair, honest judgement call.)

I know that bosdad reads these forums, so I'll say this quite bluntly: "Please think before you act."

And then....

The job of the "administration" is to maintain smooth and proper order in the server to maintain its uptime and player activity in accordance to the rules established by the owners of the server. So, by banning/kicking Firelord, we may have a maintainance of smooth and proper order, but not player activity. (I doubt that Firelord done anything to begin with but my oppinion on that is irrelevant)

Point being, that the admin (Bosdad) isn't thinking before he's clicking it seems.


If firelord infact did something, worthy of being punished, I'd say a presentation of evidence to support his judgement is needed, otherwise it's probably invalid.
