Not bad, think I'll use this one on my laptop for a tribes setup. Also.. are there any enhanced ground visuals anyone can find me? In particular.. I don't want the ground to look meshy like it does, but at the same time the modifcations I do find, look.... really overdone. T_T

Hmmmm, have you looked into vivid terrains. I hear they look like the original, but add a nice quality to them. Me personally, I like the stock terrains, so I have never used a custom one.

thats cause i don't use hm u dweeb, the tribes i supplied uses 1.20 a beta version of lasthope and blocks hm yet allows users to adjust net settings. the net settings on the config are $net::predictforwardtime = 32; and $net::polatetime = 74; everything in that config is what i play with. Also the setup should have a built in crc bypass with the hudbot so no worries on custom chainsparks ect...

idkfa idspispopd<--no clip idnoclip doesn't work anymore thats for the demo version :P oh yea idkfa gives you god mode in duke nukem 3d :)

Since 1.40 has more perks than 1.11/30 u should make visuals better in that, instead of clingin to the old model.

the physics of 1.40 aren't very good for anni or duel mod. infact about 70% of the players i asked in base duel got rid of 1.40 and switched back to their standard configs. I'ts too floaty you can't adjust the interpolatetime and you cannot adjust the predict time. there is no difference in graphics that mem.dll couldn't already handle. the only difference is that 1.40 allows you to see just a little bit farther than a standard tribes user. nothing too noticeable just a few 50 meters farther. 1.40 is a pos beta that came out in july there are a few other testers that have more updated version than that.

I like 1.40 in Anni. It feels much smoother playing (once I had changed some keybins back to OG)

1.4 is bomb. i like the floaty feel. makes the game with jetpacks feel more aerial.

Personally i like the stock tribes with 1.30 last hope. Not a fuckin thing changed just stock 1.30. No invisible chems. No gay ass 120 FOV with Chicken noodle looking weapons. Just plain ol Old School tribes with a new master and 1.30 last hope :D.

Playing in software mode if you can run OpenGL so you can see invisible people is lame
