Hey guys, trying to play tribes 1 with my sons 5 and 8 and need some help on getting started like a list like 1 to 10

First thing I got was the zip download 1.11 and the win 7 patch from http://tribesone.com
Then I added the new master servers on a neat post http://tribesone.com/smf/public-discuss ... er-server/

The thing I need now is to find out which mods and maps need to be installed - generic otherwise it could take an age to find out which ones I need
Also is it worth jumping to T2 instead or something called Tribes ascend ?

Actually you don't need to do any of that manually anymore. Just get the latest version of tribes HD v2 and it comes pre installed with master servers and glitch fixes. I'll provide a link below.
